Lower back pain? It doesn't have to be your new everyday life – we have the solution

Low back pain is one of the most common reasons why people seek medical care – and it’s no wonder. Many of us sit too much, move too little or put the wrong strain on our bodies without even noticing it. As a chiropractor, I see patients suffering from back pain every day, and the good news is that most of them experience significantly better function and less pain with the right treatment. This is where we at the clinic come in, because we know what it takes to help you get back to a pain-free everyday life.

A common cause of low back pain is joint locking in the spine, especially in the lower lumbar vertebrae. When one or more small facet joints do not move as they should, it can create local pain, stiffness and sometimes even radiating discomfort in the buttock or leg. With specific chiropractic or naprapath adjustments, we restore mobility in these joints, which often provides immediate relief and improved function. It’s not about ”breaking your back”, but about restoring balance in a system that has temporarily fallen out of play.

The pain can also come from the discs, the soft structures that act as shock absorbers between the vertebrae. A bulging disc or a small herniated disc can press on the surrounding nerves and cause pain that radiates down the leg, something we often call sciatica. At our clinic, we use both manual techniques and nerve mobilization to reduce pressure, increase circulation and help the disc recover. The sooner we take the right measures, the greater the chance of avoiding long-term problems or the need for more invasive treatments.

Another common but often overlooked cause is muscle imbalance and tension in the pelvic area. Many people have weak core muscles, tight hip flexors or overactive glutes, which leads to the body compensating in a way that puts pressure on the lower back. By combining chiropractic with deep muscle treatment and individualized rehabilitation, we can get to the cause of the pain and prevent it from coming back. We don’t just work with symptom treatment, we work with your sustainable recovery.

We often encounter patients whose pain is related to poor posture, stress or prolonged sitting. The body is not built to sit in front of a screen for eight hours a day without moving. This often results in the pelvis being in the wrong position, the muscles becoming inactive and the natural curvature of the back changing. At the clinic, we offer posture analysis and treatment programs that combine manual therapy with functional training to build a strong and sustainable posture – something that positively affects your entire body.

So if you have lower back pain… don’t wait! Pain is the body’s way of telling you that something is not right. The sooner you seek help, the sooner we can find the cause and start treating it. With us, you will receive a thorough examination, a clear treatment plan and above all – a solution that is tailored to you. We are here to help you return to an everyday life where you move freely, strongly and without pain.
